The series ‘LET'S TALK ABOUT...US! Talking – Engaging in dialogue – Overcoming contradictions’ is a platform for representatives of diasporic communities that have historically had or still have political differences, power imbalances or oppressive relationships come together to speak on a panel. They seek common ground and advocate for honest, critical recognition and reappraisal. The first panel on 30th of Oct. 2025 brings together South Asians in Berlin to think critically about solidarities and tensions across diasporic communities, between Pakistanis, Indians and beyond.

It looks at how class, ethnicity, gender, and migration shape everyday organizing, from worker struggles to cultural spaces. Rather than romanticizing unity, the focus is on what solidarity means in the face of racism, injustice, and internal hierarchies, and what a more honest and collective way of building community might look like here in Berlin.
