Mapping Feminism
A live podcast for understanding
the global battle against patriarchy
What do we as FLINTA* even know about each other?
What do we know about the struggles of indigenous
women* against colonial continuities and at the same
time against patriarchal oppression within their
communities? What are the issues of women* who are
fighting for reparations in Namibia as descendants of the
survivors of the Nama and Ovaherero genocide
and how does patriarchy manifest itself in their everyday
lives - also through these very
colonial continuities?
What pieces of the puzzle and cobblestones are we missing
in order to assemble and build the path to liberation for all of us?
We are trying to get an overview of where we stand and who we are as parts of movements
against patriarchy that is happening globally but which is not a united global movement. We
talk to those who are fighting and advocating for liberation and against patriarchy, wherever
they are on this planet. Our next podcast partner is Alice Kuveya, an activist from Zimbabwe
who is currently living in Berlin as a politically persecuted refugee.
