Vernissage der Ausstellung “Inside Out”

Neither innocent nor guilty; Neither savage nor civilized; Neither inside nor outside; Neither depth nor surface; Neither child nor adult; Neither now nor past

We are at the purgatory. Nice to have a journey. For a while I used to find myself keeping track of moments, where what is seen meets with its opposite, and I realised that this adventure makes me focus on the dualities in human nature. At the moments of reverse looking within the dualities, we see that what was innocent becomes guilty, what is now was past. This exhibition, İnside Out, brings us the probability of oppositions. When we uncover from our social clothes, the light entering within brings us various adventures with the conscience of a new born. To the years of infinity which we do not remember...

In this first personal exhibition in Berlin, Sevinç Çiftci shows oil paintings (various sizes); paper works; notes written parallelly, all of which reflect the period the artist is living in.

The exhibition runs from 5th October - 7th December
